As promised in this video I put some prices to the dents repaired to give you an idea of what typical damage I repair during a day along with rough pricing guide. As you can see here it varies a fair amount, some retail, some repeat customers and some secondary 'discounted' dents and also a little bit of trade work.

Pricing is difficult to get right in a lot of industries and PDR is one of them, value and cost are two different things and widely open to interpretation.

Pricing has to be the hardest thing to advise on as there are so many variables from country to country and tech to tech but hopefully by me laying out some of these, we can begin to understand the thought process and some of the things to consider when trying to price up your PDR work.

So pricing is obviously a hot topic in PDR so many new techs (and seasoned ones) go back and fourth on what you should be charging. PDR is a skill that takes a long time to master and therefore should be rewarded accordingly, when PDR is an option it is undoubtedly the best repair option so even if its cheaper to repair and paint a panel, keeping the panel original is the 'better' choice, but its not just the price of the one job you need to consider.
